| 2 | Gastritis and Gerd | I am experiencing tight stomach muscles. It feels as if something is restricting my stomach muscles. I find it difficult to take in a deep breath at times. Also, I have this feeling 24/7. | This tight feeling in my stomach muscles has made my life miserable! My anxiety is at an all time high and it's triggering my health anxiety. It also affects how I am as a wife and mother to my three sons. I am currently wearing myself off of it at the moment. I decided even though I did have a feeling I was going to die, that I would continue to take omeprazole and I'm about 2 weeks in to my 40mg twice a day and am feeling a lot better with my stomach and acid and believe my body is adjusting to the medicine making it easier and my health increase, I still do get anxiety and heart palpitations and the other side effects but my advice is to remain as calm as possible as it does for me. The medicine is working and I feel as though these sides effects are worth it for me in the long run. After a while I started to develop this side effect it took me a while to link to the med.
