| 1 | ADHD | Thank God my insurance wouldn't pay for this medication. I only took it for 7 days, but I believe any longer could have ended in disaster. The first three days I didn't notice anything. The last four days became increasingly terrible. I was very agitated and not myself at all. I was drowsy all the time but also couldn't fall asleep and was constantly waking up. I ran out of it and within 24 hours I began to feel better. By 48 hours off the medication, it was like something was lifted off me. I've never experienced anything like that in my life. It was terrifying to realize how just angry and sad that medication was making me feel. Increased to 150mg - still nothing. Increased to 200mg - some signs of improved attention. Increased to 300mg - more attention. After 1-2 months on 300mg started being more quiet than usual, depressed, talking about death and other negative thoughts, can't focus on any work due to racing negative thoughts. Reduced to 200mg - still depressed, can't focus. Reduced to 150mg - still depressed, can't focus due to racing negative thoughts. Stopped - happy again, talks, says that can control his negative thoughts, attention is poor like before Quelbree.
