After awhile I switched to twice a day because I wasn't really feeling any side effects but that was an awful decision. After about a week or so of taking it twice a day I started feeling very restless and had panic attacks. For reference I have NEVER had a panic attack before using Rogaine. My heart rate felt like it was faster and I really had trouble sleeping. I did not realize it could be the Rogaine but once I did, I tried to switch to only one application a day to see how that worked. Switching to one application a day got my heart rate under control sort of, but it was still not how it once was. I genuinely felt more depressed, more anxious, and only really felt like sleeping. Yesterday I stopped taking Rogaine completely and have thrown away the bottle because I would rather lose my hair then to experience these side effects. Rogaine may work to grow your hair back, but there is no way that it is worth the side effects. Does anyone know how long it takes to get rid of these heart palpitations and the constant pounding sensations? Please email me if you do. I put a small amount of this stuff on my scalp twice a day for about 5 months, and it almost completely killed my previously unquenchable sex drive for about 2 years. The first time I took it was in July 2016 and continued taking it until November 2016. After stopping progress was slow, but I remember around December of 2018 is when I really started to feel like I did before taking Rogaine. Am I back to 100 percent? I don't completely know, but if I don't have discipline I will masterbate several times a day, whereas before I could go several days without thinking about the opposite sex in any carnal way. I am finally seeing a doctor to investigate potential damage to collagen and connective tissue, something Minoxidil has been shown to affect in studies. | I wish I had never taken this drug.
