| 4 | Prolactinoma | It was sort of fine at the start. Just made me foggy and tired so I took it before bed. Initially it was just 1 tablet a week too. Now down the line my dosage has increased to 2 twice a week. My prolactin levels have dramatically decreased however just not enough. Will find out in 2 months whether I need surgery. Anyway prior to taking this medication I was pretty optimistic always, however now it's a lot harder to have that mind set. I feel quite sad, fairly often. I do have good days still. It's just hard. I'm so grateful to have my partner to support me. If anything it's helped me understand what having depression is like - and I can empathise with people who experience this more than I do. Also I have had problems with extreme pins and needles in my hands (like the feeling when your feet fall asleep and start to wake up) along with numbness of my hands. This usually lasts all day on the days it happens. I've also noticed weird cold/hot sensations. Like the feeling of your hands when you have been outside in the freezing cold then run your hands under hot water, my hair is getting extremely thin, I am gaining weight, I've noticed blueish to purple hands.
