Dr said it was probably a "fluke"; took it second night, and had even worse numbness, and an intense headache at the top of my spine; neither has gone away in almost a week after discontinuation. | I just put a "5" down so people would not have to scroll down to find this comment buried; I'd actually give it less than a 1. DON'T USE THIS DRUG if you've EVER had carpal tunnel or ANY prolonged numbness/tingling in your limbs, and/or if you have diabetes, fibromyalgia or autoimmune disease, which are related to peripheral neuritis. The packaging just said not to use in the case of central nervous system disease, but given that peripheral neuritis is associated with autoimmune disease, that seems terribly irresponsible. My experience shows that even the supposedly safer vaginal form can cause these VERY SERIOUS side effects. It's not worth the risk. Was only on it for five days. It got rid of the fishy smell and I think the bacterial infection is gone.
