| 2 | Crohn's Disease | the injection is easy. no pain/burn. I take Zyrtec/Antihistamine everyday to alleviate sinusitis. Fatigue, one fungal spot on my toe. Migraine usually 2 days after injection. Neurologists prescribed Imitrex. I get numbness left side of face, shoulder and arm, which I take Flexeral. I have thinning hair. After 2 years 9 months, my recent colonoscopy came back with the disease starting again at the anastomosis with a 4 cm ulcer. GI wants to increase dose to 40 mg a week. Not too excited. I just had the ANITBODY TEST for HUMIRA which is now available from Prometheus Labs via your doctor. After 2.9 years, I developed resistance through my body building up antibodies/immunity to HUMIRA. I stopped HUMIRA immediately. My Doctor recommends the last biologic available, CIMZIA. I am so happy and relieved not living with side effects, I will wait as long as I can before taking a new drug. Please talk with your doctor about getting the ANTIBODY test done. Seeing my Rheummy in 4 days and discussing stopping TNF treatment all together for a higher dose of Methotraxate to give me my life back. Stinging @ injection site. Humira is kept in the refrigerator, was told to leave @ room temperature for 20-30 minutes prior to next injection to avoid excessive stinging. Check with your doc 1st on that though. | This drug has helped tremendously as far as reducing debilitating pain & swollen joints throughout my body.
