| 1 | Acid Reflux/GERD | The WORST headaches i've ever had in my ENTIRE life, anxious feeling, panic attacks, jittery,and my heartburn came back after anout 5 days on the medication. | I took Nexium for almost two weeks. The first 3-4 days were great, my heartburn went away, I had no side effects and thought it was wonderful....THEN, about on the 5th day, I woke up in the middle of the night (I took the medication at 7pm every night) and it felt like someone had hit the back of my head with a hammer! I have never had headaches, and the headaches it gave me were not just small, tolerable headaches, they were migraine type headaches. I spoke to a co-worker and she said that it did the same thing to her daughter when she tried taking it.
