Anxiety and discomfort that made me lose weight. Then after I lost weight I took Seroquel (To help me gain back the weight). I started to build a tolerance. I started eating, and would choke down the food while barely conscious. I would wake up and not remember what I did, but there would be food in my mouth, or an empty container around the house. I gained a lot of weight and I am now slimming down slowly. Hubby had to lock the fridge it got so bad. I am taking this drug again after 2 years on Restoril. Restoril doesn't work unless I double the dose. My doctor won't let me. I am going to see if I can go right to sleep and avoid the bad behaviors while on Ambien this time around. Will post update if possible. Not sure about the anxiety and discomfort. Will take it 1 day at a time. Lunesta has a lot of bad reviews about severe anger, and anxiety, so I didn't choose that one. Go to sleep right after taking Ambien! Do not drive, cook, eat, or have sex if you are loaded on Ambien. Do not operate machinery, send correspondence, shop online while loaded on Ambien. Just do not stay up at all! Chances are you won't remember any of it until it is too late. Ambien allows you to do complex activities while loaded on it. Had it before when I had Ambien years ago, but didn't make the association. | I do not have an increased appetite this time. I think that was caused by Seroquel. I am not sleepwalking or driving, or eating. I am seeming to need more than 10mg to get knocked out. The first night on 10mg just drifted in and out of sleep with lovely dreams. I remember everything. I am a bit slower at work today. Maybe getting adjusted. So happy I am not eating!
