Some side effects are still with me but think in a week or so they should be gone. On the plus side it cured, while taking it, my restless leg syndrome and dryed up a post nasel drip that i've had for a long time and all signs of my mild depression. But the side effects we're not worth it. SSRI's will kill you sleep and your sex life. I hate them. Doctors push for you to go on them but that's only because of the kickbacks they get. I will never take them again you may be less depressed but your relationship and sleep will suffer. Not worth it in my book. I went back onI imprimine at 55 and there was no weight gain, depression, and anxiety. I slept as soon as I hit the pillow. My sex life is wonderful and orgasms have returned normally with the added bonus of them being big. IMIPRAMINE HCL (IMIPRAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE): This medication is used to treat depression. It is also used with other therapies for the treatment of nighttime bed-wetting (enuresis) in children. Using this medication to treat depression may improve your mood, sleep, appetite, and energy level and may help restore your interest in daily living. Imipramine can help your child control nighttime bed-wetting. Imipramine belongs to a class of medications called tricyclic antidepressants. It works by restoring the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine) in the brain. For bed-wetting, this medication may work by blocking the effect of a certain natural substance (acetylcholine) on the bladder.
