Patients should be monitered with their doctor in the room immediately after taking this medication if it causes such horrible side effects. Not taking it now!! I have been left, 4 days later, with blurred vision, nerve pain/shooting pains all over and joint pain.nausea, vomiting, dizziness, lack of appetite, shaking, headaches, sore eyes, sleep disturbance, weakness, stomach and bowel upset, constipation and diarrhoea, confusion, tinnitus, balance problems, runny nose, sinusitis, flu-like feelings and much more. I am seriously concerned about this drug and as someone who has underlying health problems, this has left me even more unwell. I cannot currently leave the house and have had to cancel one medical appointment. I am sensitive to drugs and foods and this was explained to my GP and no proton pump inhibitor was prescribed with it. Votarol Retard in the past made my stomach bleed, but Ibuprofen is just about tolerable. I thought it was worth trying, never realising the consequences. I hope these symptoms go as I cannot face eating and I hope I won't miss my cardiology appointment.
