Half way through severe diarrhea developed along with cramps. Swollen glands and sore throat went away, but chronic diarrhea continued. Imodium, Kefir, bland diet would help temporarily, but symptoms would recur. In July stool stamples proved negative in all tests, and a oolonoscopy and an endoscopy were performed to rule out other possibilities, but lab tests found a condition called microscopic colitis. Currently I'm on a 3-month regimen of a steroid called Entocort 3 mg. capsules, three per day, drinking Kefir daily and taking GR8-Dophilus 2 per day. Symptoms are currently under control. Tapering off steroids will start soon, and we'll see. | I would never recommend Erythromycin to anyone nor would I ever take it again.
