I also get queasy and kind of nauseated with all this medication, and I'm taking Zofran for that. Probiotic yogurt helped tremendously with the early stomach problems. All symtoms disappeared within hours. It did get rid of the upper respiratory infection although it was slowly poisoning my body. Have always been able to tolerate Augmentin, but after a heart attack and the new drugs I have been prescribed (Niaspan, Provocal, and Effient) plus the insertion of two heart stents, this 64-year old body cannot take Augmentin. He's had long history of anti-biotic use because he gets chronic infection of his sinuses and he'd mentioned once before that some antibiotics can have some mental effects on you. I didn't really believe him and he didn't tell me which ones. Augmentin. Augmentin is one of them. I've seen shit out of the corner of my eyes, become suicidal, and I have five days left. My birthday is on the 28th.
