My doctor gave me Cipro, didn't work, then after having an allergic reaction to Tequin my doctor gave me Cefzil. The sinus infection that had gone on for months causing a great deal of anquish and scorching pain with every breath was made clear within a day of taking it. After taking the full course, I felt alive again. It's helped cure two more severe sinus infections I've had over the last few years. CEFZIL (CEFPROZIL): Cefprozil is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is known as a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu).
