| 1 | Reflux | I took one pill and became very sick five hours later. Severe diarrhea, chills, feverish...up all night thinking I had food poisoning. Couldn’t walk the next day I was so wiped out. Finally felt better three days later so took another pill. Five hours later was in same boat. | My reflux got better but I was so sick I couldn’t eat. I had stabbing pains in my chest and head the second time I took it. My kidney still hurts and I’m still dragging. That's why I was given Dexilant samples.) Any way, done with it. Went to the health food store today for slippery elm and licorice and probiotics. I figure it can't be any worse than the side effects from the scripts. The abdominal pain is still so bad I'll be at the walk-in tomorrow if it hasn't let up. I have had issues with nausea since I was 19, and no other drugs have worked to control it. I have been prescribed Zofran as a bandaid solution. First 3 days of taking Dexilant, I felt like an entirely new person! Zero nausea. But on the 4th day I started getting dizzy, vertigo, feeling as if I was moving when sitting still.
