Invega is a really bad drug | F | 22 | 7 months 100mg 1X M | 1/18/2023 | 1 | Forced | Recieved two injections 150MG 28-6-19 and my last injection was 100MG 5-7-19 after becoming delusional due to long fasts without food and water and little sleep. Hours after receiving the injection I became lethargic, depressed, suicidal, with poor concentration. Have not had any more injections since 5-7-19. Have gone from 62kgs to 80kgs since the injection. I had a very controlled diet before the medication but experienced intense food cravings after the injections. It is now 17-12-19 and I am still experiencing food cravings but to a lesser degree, I cannot concentrate much, I still feel lethargic with little energy, feeling depressed and suicidal. I was not depressed or suicidal prior to the injection. I had tried multiple anti psychotic before this one and they all had terrible side effects. Some might think that lactating and having my menstrual cycle stop are bad sode effects as well, however I am at a point in my life where these things seem rather small and inconsequential. I take my Invega at night so the drowsiness is a welcomed side effect for someone who barely got sleep before. I had a lot of sexual hallucinations while on this medication. During class it would seem as if though I could feel one of the men in the classroom pleasure me. It was really distracting. I also laughed a lot on this medication. My mood was elevated. I quit a whole year of college due to my inability to focus and was unable to major in what I wanted once I transferred. Throughout that year, I thought a celebrity loved me and tried to fly to England without a passport or money. I ended up in a psych ward. I seriously considered quitting school and becoming a housewife. My personality did a 180. On Invega I wasn't the ambitious and successful me who had graduated with honors in high school and was voted most likely to become a doctor. I'm glad I'm on a different medication now. I hope to graduate from University as an English major. | If your doctor suggests you continue taking the old medication as you adjust to the new medication, my advice is to continue taking the old medication until your doctor tells you to stop. | F | 23 | 1 years 254 | 6/4/2020 | 1 | schizoaffective | Weight gain | I've gained 22 lbs in three months .
