Eliminating foods or medication has worked, but neither seems to be a very good solution for me. I was tested for food allergies almost a year ago (ALCAT), which revealed several severe to moderate allergies to gluten, gliatin, egg whites, cows milk, pork, salmon, turkey, chicken several fruits and vegetables and some additives and perservatives. I tried elminating or cutting back on these foods, but I became depressed from not being able to enjoy a decent meal (gluten and egg whites are in everything!). I started taking Aciphex to relieve symptoms from eating these foods again. Not sure what to do now. I don't want to take this drug long term, and don't want the uphold the strict diet.
