| 1 | Hangover | I woke up with a killer hangover and decided to take something to cure it. I had never taken this before and made the mistake of taking 3. A few hours later, oh god. Worst anxiety of my life, I was panicking and felt like I was gonna pass out. The scariest part is I didn't know what was wrong with, I didn't realize til later that it was the medicine. Only thing I had was somewhat high cholesterol levels but that's it. Took the recommended dose of 2 on May 28, 2017 on a Sunday. Wanted it as relief for the headaches and noise sensitivity for work after I had a minor concussion. Took in in the morning with a small donut and with an Arizona drink. Caused an adverse reaction in my stomach. Had stomach aches, and nausea the same day, within a week or so, had extremely low Vitamin D levels, felt sharp bone pain across my body. Since then I haven't felt that great and had to go to a doctor, diagnosed me with Gastritis, GERD, and Vitamin D Deficiency. Am taking Rantidine, Metoclopramide, and D2 50,000 UI Pill to ease it. My bones are recovering bit by bit but the GERD still resurfaces and will have to adjust my diet. Excedrin Migraine is the worst drug you can take to treat headaches or temporary migraines of any kind. The side effects far outweigh the positives. I have tried Imitrex, Zomig, and Zonisamide, none did a thing for my migraines. Finally tried this, and it WORKS. If I recognize the migraine early enough, one pill may be sufficient, but if I delay, wanting to be sure it's really a migraine, then sometimes two pills are required. This is simply Tylenol, aspirin, and caffeine - but it's that unique combination that works. I have tried just tylenol and aspirin, and it was not effective. The caffeine plays some sort of important role. It's nice to have something cheap and OTC that works. I carry it in my purse, the car, everywhere I go. Next, I take 2 Valerian herbal capsules found any where in the vitamin section that balances out the caffeine jitters that Excedrin causes. Then I drink a lot of water with taking 2 Excedrin capsules. So my migraine goes away and my stomach and nervous system are in control. The great thing about papaya and Valerian is that you can keep taking it as needed every few hours if you feel that your Excedrin side effects are coming back. I also have a moderate anxiety disorder, but it never triggered an anxiety attack. The only problem I have with it is that the caffeine makes it hard to fall asleep soon afterwards, and the caffeine sometimes makes my slight mitral valve prolapse worse ( = makes my heart skip beats more often when I'm laying down) but this is a very normal reaction for me when taking caffeine. I try to only take one pill so as to be easy on my liver and heart, but if the migraine is really intense, I'll take two.
