Even with only a sheet to cover me, temperature of 70 degrees and a bedside fan blowing on me, I wake up hot and uncomfortable. I finally quit taking the stuff yesterday and am monitoring my BP to see what happens. In the six months prior to my HBP, my weight had climbed to 270 lbs. Faint like feelings..(THESE are the worst) crying spells COZ I feel there's no hope..(I'm crying as I'm writing this).Severe reddness and hot sensation in ears, neck and face. and my Dr. Just thinks it's anxiety and gives me clonazepam. LOTS of other effects too numerous to list..I feel im slowly dying. Lots of tests done all normal. CT brain scan.Abdominal scan. Upper GI..Echo Cardio. various blood tests done..ALL NORMAL. Little abnormalities but within normal ranges..currently taking GENERIC DIOVAN (valsartan) But I think the damage has been done to my body by this poison. DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.. | Over the last 10 YRS I have tried the folowing. LISINOPRIL.Atenolol. AMLODIPINE. Metropolol. Carvedolil. And of course Diovan..ALL have caused misery on my body.MY Dr. Keeps saying Donovan is the least with side effects..BUT SHE F-ING WRONG. Looking back, I would imagine that they had to make sure that I'll still be in good shape to come back to get the rest! Taking only half the pill to avoid dizziness or falling asleep at work, I experienced leg cramps, and couldn't breath twice at night (not aware at all it was side effects). One day I took a 160/25 at lunch to combat the high bp and fast pulse on a warm day trip out of town. Had several hours of rest before driving back, I knew well about warnings labeled on medecine - and had always giving myself 4-6 hours (taking at 3 AM if a must). I told my doctor that I was having all these symptoms but she said that it was not the drug.If this drug has caused all these problems, I really am irritated. I have went to the doctor thirty or forty times in the past three years. I have went to a cardiologist, dermatologist, rheumatologist, eye, ear, nose and throat doctors, emergency rooms, and no one pays any attention to me. I had basically just gave up. I really was just getting ready to die. I have been having kidney problems the last few months. I decided that I had lupus or RA. My stomach will not go down even if I diet. My kidneys in the back area begin hurting about three weeks ago. I have severe headaches, that never completely stop. I really need to know if this drug is causing my problems. My B/P is high and I have had reaction to several B/P drugs in the past. I have told these doctors this but no one seems to know what is causing these problems.
