| 4 | hypertension | angioedema- my tongue, eylids ,lips were a little swollen, and I have muscle pain. Then my tongue started having little cracks on it, making it painful to eat or even drink anything. THis lasted about one week. My doctor said once I did not have any airway obstruction it was ok and that my tongue will heal and it did. I remained on cozaar because it's managing by bp well. I'm now 117/70. I feel like I am literally losing my mind. I want to sleep it off but I can't. What a miserable experience. I am scared to take anything else. I think I'll become a vegetarian, cut all salt and exercise like CRAZY! | This medicine was given to me as a sample. This means that there are valid reasons to be sceptical and aware of the dangers. I am looking into weaning myself off this chemical drug for something called Preasure-ease. I am going to try a Naturepathic doctor and see how it works for me. I feel we are being used as test tubes for the drug companies. Then I understood why I had felt so sick and I stopped taking Cozaar and consequently I almost died three days later of a brain attac.
