Usually starts late morning and doesn't go away or even subside. Very difficult to deal with, believe it or not. More often it feels like a curse rather than a blessing. Please note that most of those who have posted very negative comments here took the drug for a very short period. All I can say is that yes, THE FIRST THREE WEEKS TO MONTH of taking Wellbutrin is difficult and sometimes enough to make you want to quit. After your body has had time to level out, however, most of the unpleasant side effects completely disappear(insomnia, vivid dreaming, confusion, easy to anger, shaking.) You have to ride out that initial period and it's not easy, but completely worth it. It may even seem that it is impossible to endure, but you can get through it and you will come out on the other side with a new life. I do believe that everyone who begins Wellbutrin should commit to three months trial. You can pretty much count on that the first 4-6 weeks will not be great, but if you want the benefits you must be patient. This drug is nothing like the other antidepressants. I would never take Zoloft again, that is certain. Wellbutrin will give you back your sex life and for some women a dramitically increased intensity of orgasm. It does for me.
