This is by far the best medicine for me. If my liver could tolerate it, I would probably like Remeron better, because it really doesn't hit the libido very much, but Luvox is the next best thing. I don't feel "Medicated" most of the time when on it, with only a few exceptions if I eat black licorice or when I wake up in the middle of the night. There has been some weight gain, but the meds that seem to work good for me tend to do that (e.g. not much reduction in panic with zoloft, so I lost weight on zoloft because I eat LESS when I have panic" Important thing to remember on Luvox: NO CAFFEINE. You also shouldn't smoke on it. Some of the weight gain is probably caused because I used to drink diet coke when I ate out all the time, now it's tough to find diet caffeine free soda, so I drink sprite, which has a lot more calories. When my Anxiety is bad, I have some OCD, and this has helped that as well.
