If you experience an allergic reaction, I recommend taking Benedryl and then discontinuing the antibiotics. I am allergic all Sulfas and Ciprofloxacin. Macrobid is the only one that has been effective for me recently. Just because other people have had problems with it does not mean you should discount this drug.
