| 5 | HPV | Summary background: 1st time diagnosed with HPV, and I know who gave it to me 6 months ago, though warts developed 1 month ago only. I am frustrated and disgusted by this, but I also know it is very common, if not the norm, to have it nowadays. I had 1 small anal wart, 3 very small warts close to the entrance of the vagina, and a 0.5 cm cluster (cauliflower like) on the lower part very close to the entrance of the vagina). All small warts are gone, now working on the cluster. Got yellow discharge when using condyline liquid version. Very effective but it gives a burning sensation. It's a must to apply a tiny amount only to the affected area, to use protective daily small pads to avoid moisture, to use comfortable underwear that won't irritate the treated area, to gently clean the area at least twice a day with water only (or using intimate soap) and to dry well (hairdryer with cold air or somewhat warm, but never hot). I avoided working out during the treatment to prevent any tear of the skin or extra irritation. | Hurts and burns, but it isn't unbearable if applied correctly. Skin looks white during the necrosis process and has a disgusting smell, after the wart comes off slight bleeding occurred, skin looking fleshy, but it recovers rather quickly. Currently taking vitamin C in high concentration to boost inmune system and doing daily checks to spot any new growth. I spent all 3 days of the initial treatment scouring all of the reviews to see why I had no change. I remember at the end of day 3 I saw no change and was really reluctant to stop applying. On my last dosage I did it about 5 times (which is probably incorrect) as that was the time I was so so sore it was unnecessarily painful. Day 4 I gave it a rest warts looked the same and I honestly started to consider booking to have them frozen off. Day 5 morning I still saw the warts looking the same and I just rubbed them slightly and they came off!! Skin is a little rough and sore so will give it to day 7 to see if completely gone but I am absolutely shocked. As a tester to my skin (wart was on delicate frenulum skin on penis) I only applied for 2 days instead of 3, because I was aware of potential issues so I wanted to go slow. Wart initially turned white and got smoother and bigger, I thought it was getting worse. By the evening of day 3 (first day without treatment for me) the wart started to suddenly fade, and not scab or drop off like others report. I'm on day 4 now and the wart has pretty much totally disappeared. When I first started using this I hadn't read reviews and they really really helped me so I wanted to write an in depth review! I found out I had genital warts about 7 months ago. I used aldara and had NO luck. I then tried warticon and it helped the warts around my anus but not the ones near my vagina. I then decided to try this because I heard surgery was so painful and couldn't do that to myself! I first used this about 3 months ago and WOW it was AGONY! I like others had enough of my GW and over used thinking it would some how benefit me. Why I thought that I don't know it's acid so I really should have thought that through but anyway! When I over used it, I cried everyday. I was in so much pain, I couldn't walk, I had burns, blisters, bleeding, I couldn't sleep it was just agony! Yes at the end of my treatment some of my warts were gone, not all but it worked on my smaller warts but I just decided I couldn't go through that pain again so I left it. I just accepted this was my life, I could never have sex again, would never be loved and basically feel into depression! Dramatic I know but that's how I felt! A few weeks past and I did some research, I found reviews and realised how silly it was of me to over use this product! Warts around base and slightly up the penis shaft. Had them for ages, couple years at least. Warts quite thick at that point. At first I was too keen and painted as much of the stuff on the main area as I could with a small brush which burnt the skin around the warts. There was no pain as such like others mentioned, more just felt raw/skin was peeling off. After one 3 day cycle the smaller warts came off (with a bit of help, gave them a scratch). The bigger ones took a second 3 day treatment and got killed off entirely. The skin which i had burnt previously healed as normal within a couple weeks so don't stress about that. I then learnt to just apply the liquid to the wart only, i found that easy using a tiny brush. Results were better that way, completely unobtrusive and hardly felt anything. The warts initially go a little bigger, then change colour, then the skin shows tiny dead spots and just dies off. You can exfoliate to push it along a bit. I found that the newer warts with thinner skin die off in the single 3 day treatment. If you need to just keep repeating the 3 days every monday. Make sure you dont exceed 3 days at a time, the rest days are essential for the process to kick in. All in all i highly recommend this stuff, it's so easy and effective. I noticed it around 6 months ago but I just thought it would go away on its own - it didn't, so I educated myself and found out what it was. I got Condylox solution 2 weeks ago. During the first three days of treatment I didn't really notice any changes - I swear I actually thought it was getting even bigger (which I think happened) - so I was starting to get discouraged. Everyone was saying how this solution works wonders and their warts had fallen off by the third day - but in the next 4 days off, my wart had dramatically reduced in size to the point where I could barely see it. A part of it peeled off, but it wasn't completely gone yet, so I continued the treatment. I am now on my first day off of the second cycle and the wart fell off! It turned completely white during the three days I applied Condylox and finally, it's not there anymore. I am still a bit sore but I am so glad it's gone. I swear it was consuming me, knowing that it was there. I am finally clean again! If anyone has GW, go for this product. It does work, and the pain and burning is not that bad as long as you respect the 3 days on - 4 days off rule and apply just a little bit of it. They do go away, but please remember to be patient. This was also where the GW were showing. The nurse told me any broken skin or cuts would cause a good environment for warts to develop. I had Cryo which did not work in the long term, only short term and aldara made no difference at all. This product was recommended by the doctor. I first started using it and applied twice a day over 3 days. I noticed a slight sharp raw pain. On day 4 I had incredible irritation and swelling around the whole area. I was concerned, but after reading various comments found this to be common so just made sure I moisturised around the area. The first cycle formed scabs on the warts, which used to happen with cryo, but the sensation was different, almost like the medication was getting deeper into the problem. The second cycle was much better so there was only slight irritation and no redness anywhere but where the warts were. The third cycle completely removed the warts, each time creating a scab on the specific region. Despite initial irritation I prefer this to other treatments as it can be self-administered and is straight forward to use. The redness subsides after extended use. I also have the bottled liquid which seems to go a long way, so it should help me keep check on any returning warts. I hope that I can sustain a long period without any however, and I am aware that the medication also aids suppressing regrowths. From experience, on my day 3 of application I decided to apply on the spots again even tho the warts had fallen off just to be sure it was all gone. BIGGEST MISTAKE !!! It burnt the different parts of my skin like my skin was raw, never seen my skin that raw before. The pain was excruciating and using the toilet was unbearableness. Couldn't walk around or sit in one place without people asking questions.I was happy to have gotten rid of the warts but this was more painful than the warts itself. | For treatment of my raw skin, My Doc adviced I apply sudocrem as often as I could and also before that sit in salt lukewarm water for about 15mins to help circulation of blood to those parts for quick healing (this helped soothe the pain and discomfort for a while). This treatment worked wonders for me as my skin is healed completely and my life is back to normal.. I did this for about 5days and I'm better. Stay safe | F | 26 | 3 days 2X day | 11/23/2016 | 5 | HPV - penis | Got these in college way back when, so I've had forever. Bad news - it's a virus, so you'll always have it. Good news - very common, you can have long stretches of time w/o them. For some people, they never return. Few key things to note: a weak immune system and stress will not help the healing. I know it's hard, but you're not alone. Smoking and drinking do not help. I don't smoke, but if I drink alot, I sometimes get an outbreak. Be healthy. Eat well. Less Is more. Apply ONLY to the wart. It is corrosive. LET IT DRY. I find 10-15 min enough time. The burning/rawness doesn't happen to me until day 3 or first rest day. Painful, but it gets rid of warts every time. I have tried cryo/freezing them off - this worked the first time or two, but only with isolated warts. I had a cluster and that seemed to make it worse. Condylox gel works best for me, but everyone is different. I've had lots of partners and lots of unprotected sex (right or wrong). Do not have sex when you have the warts. Period. If casual, no warts, wear a condom. If starting a relationship, condom and disclose you have it. Some are ok with it, some not - but you'll feel better you've done the right thing. BTW - my recurrences are much less. Maybe one wart a year, if. Same spot as my first wart years ago. I have also gone years without having any warts. Be healthy and happy. It helps. Oh, and regardless, it may sound funny, but I do check daily if I'm in a relationship.
