When I take 10mg a day though I get a deep depression feeling, and I hate everyone and everything. I was taking 10mg a day and having thoughts of suicide to "get away from everything". As soon as I went back to my 5mg a day(without the doctors approval) I've felt perfectly fine.. it's hard to say how this medication will work. | I like how I feel on 5 mg, but now my doctor wants to change it to something else because I run at 140/85-130/80. I went to the doc told him of my symptoms and he titrated me off of the Norvasc and put me on a combo pill, which is Norvasc and another medicine to help with the aches/swelling. This pill is called Lotril. It works. My blood pressure is where it needs to be 122/70, and no more feet swellings, or aches. I also started drinking alot of spring water, which helps with BP and meds side effects.
