I was on klonopin before, and after valium to be able to get off that addictive dirty drug that cause strong physical and psychological addiction, that even increased anxiety when your body needs it. I do some group and individual psychotherapy for borderline personality and past drug addictions since 2 years. Drugs are not a cure to your problems, they help the symptoms, but you need to change your bad habits and the way you think to influence your emotions in a positive way. Yesterday, after my 6th dose, I was aware that I wasn't scared while driving at all. I remembered what it was like to take for granted that I could operate and car and get myself where I needed to be. This feels miraculous. I could cry over how miserable I was, and over the intense relief of being able to live a normal life again. It has a subtle effect, not the doped up "relaxed" feeling you get from some other anxiety meds, but it has helped me greatly with minimal side effects. I believe in waiting out a treatment method at least a month or so because side effects usually fade with time. I am prescribed it twice a day and I do begin to feel symptoms returning sometimes a bit before the next dose so I am going to be asking to switch to three times a day, which is a more common treatment with this medicine since it is fairly short-acting. | F | 28 | 3 weeks 10 mg 2X day | 4/27/2017 |
