I would also gain a lot of water weight during my period. You can actually swallow or chew this pill and it is supposed to be a spearmint flavor. I have been taking the chewable for a month now and haven't noticed any difference from before. I have been on the shot and the patch and hated both. I am a Kickbox instructor, which makes matters 100x's worse, especially when I have to teach a kickbox class 3 days a week! I'm switching back to my old brand, Triphasil 28 when I finish this pack.
