I am taking myself off of it immediately. My husband agrees. It's not worth it. I'm going back to Yaz. My doctor just recently switched me to Loestrin as my previous Birth Control pill, Lutera, was not hormonally strong enough to regulate my period. Within the first week, I noticed changes, but the worst hit at week 3. I went from being an upbeat, ambitious, optimistic young college student to a miserable, depressed zombie. It was like I hit a brick wall. The previous comment "I couldn't control my thoughts" is the perfect description. I was afraid to be alone because my mind just went wild. I felt like there was no meaning to my life, I questioned everything, I was constantly nauseous and anxious. I never could have imagined what "depression" truly meant. It was excruciating. I withdrew from everyone. The worst part was the effect it had on my relationship with my boyfriend, who is honestly one of the best guys in the world. I was happy one second, and the next I was convinced I couldn't be with him. And I didn't have any desire to let him touch me. It was like I had no control over my thoughts or emotions. I'm so grateful I came across these reviews, there's finally a reason for these feelings I've been having. I've been scared to death that there was something seriously wrong with me. Threw the rest of the pack away this morning, I already feel a little better. Here's hoping that with the next week, these side effects will clear up. I have only been on this pill for about 3 weeks and my dizzy spells started off small, maybe once every few days but quickly increased.
