I lost 35 lbs I put on while on Depo, and my periods last 2 days and are very light. The only problem is that if I forget to take a pill - even by a few hours - my period starts up. All of my initial side effects have disappeared. I am doing great with this pill. I would recommend it. Also, while reading these comments...I think people should remember that every woman is different. Some problems mentioned might be from other medical conditions and not the pill. Also, it could be the pill mixed with other medications. People tend to notice things more when starting a new medication. They could have had some of these problems the whole time. If you try this pill, reserve judgement until you make it through the fourth month. Everyone's body is different. So after one week of taking the Loestrin 30 (higher dose than 20) I decided to stop completely. It has only been two days but the spotting stopped and I am starting to feel a bit better!
