Possible problems with ovaries now 25 years later. | Clomid is good for achieving pregnancy, however, now (my twin sons are 24)...I believe that the medical challenges they have undergone may be due to taking Clomid. One son had Tourette's growing up and now is living with Schizophrenia. My other son battled APL Leukemia at age 17 and thank God is doing well now. Both of these have to deal with chromosomal abnormalities. It works by stimulating an increase in the amount of hormones that support the growth and release of a mature egg (ovulation).
