3 | Open angle glaucoma | At first terrible acid reflux 3/4 hour after use. Now only occasional but I have regular acupuncture treatment to combat it. The meridian at the corner of the eye is the stomach meridian ! and is invariably found to be 'blocked'. I wonder if it's having to put pressure on the corner of the eye for a minute to keep the drops within the eyes or if it is the fact that the drops drain to the nose and down the throat. | F | 71 | 3 days 1 drop 2X day | 8/25/2021 | 2 | low pressure glaucoma | clogged ears, stuffy head | M | 47 | 15 days 1 drop 1X day | 4/26/2014 |
LATANOPROST (LATANOPROST): Latanoprost is used to treat high pressure inside the eye due to glaucoma (open angle type) or other eye diseases (e.g., ocular hypertension). It is similar to a natural chemical in the body (prostaglandin) and works by regulating the flow of fluid within the eye which results in lower pressure. Lowering high pressure inside the eye helps to prevent blindness. FDA Approval Date: 2011-03-22 (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)
