This has helped the nausea, but instead of every day mild nausea, I sometimes get intense nausea about once or twice a month. My periods were nonexistent for the first 5 months, and then became very light, and are now normalizing for a whole week, moderate periods. As for my mood. I went from having irritability that I thought was me just being a naggy person, to extreme anxiety andOCD, to full on mood swings that could be flipped like a switch. I became overly sensitive and cry because of everything. I used to never cry, ever. Now, I am insanely depressed. I am having daily suicidal thoughts because of simple things such as not wanting to attend an event. I am having extreme social anxiety, when I am generally an outgoing person. And to top everything off, this cause my skin to break out. I know it is because of the BC because my chin has been nonstop breaking out for the past 8 months, which is caused by hormones. The acne has increased my social anxiety. I have also been having horrible cramps that come and go every few minutes. The first couple of weeks seemed to be improvement, aside from the frequent headaches. My endo pain was definitely decreased. I noticed a slight weight gain and kept strict track of my diet/caloric intake but my weight refused to drop those few pounds it gained. By the 3rd week of taking this, I was bleeding daily, going through 2 to 3 regular pads or tampons. Around this time, my right leg's calf muscle seemed to have a permanent Charlie horse albeit not so severe that I was unable to walk. I also got low pelvic area cramping. My sex drive went from desiring intercourse a couple of times a week with my husband to having absolutely no desire for sex at all. The bleeding started as a dark brown discharge noticeable when I would cough or wipe but it developed into red blood and it seemed much heavier than any "breakthrough" bleeding I'd read about. My doctor assured me to give it time but I decided to face the more predictable endo pain rather than chance the increasing side effects from taking this medication. A yeast infection cropped up a month ago, was successfully treated, and now I have another one. My breasts get much sorer than they did off birth control. Sometimes I have very brief dizzy spells, and although I usually brush them off, I'm beginning to wonder if that could be connected. Pregnancy tests insist I'm not pregnant (some of these symptoms made me think I could be), so the pill has done its job, but it's making me miserable. I think I'd rather feel more like myself and more in control of my body and just tell my boyfriend that condoms will have to be completely mandatory. So far, I can't complain!
