I lost all 20 while briefly switching to another pill but it did not relieve my endimitriosis pain. I am so bitchy. I am a ticking time bomb. I cry for the most insignificant things and my poor boyfriend has to handle all of this. This is certainly the worst pill I have ever tried but I'm afraid that if I switch to something else it may be worse or I may gain more weight. I also feel nauseous and my breasts are swollen more days than not. I was prescribed Junel 1/20 (1 pill every other day) to relieve menopause symptons - hot flashes, sleep deprivation, etc. It did help tremendously. However after 6 months I ended up in the emergency room with pulmonary embolism - lungs filled with blood clots. Docs said I was lucky I was in good shape or otherwise it could have been fatal. I had no other risk factors except for the medication. I immediately stopped taking it and have had no problems since - 4 yrs later. Beware. Know your body and if something doesn't feel right, get checked out right away. This one has done the best with controlling the pain but the other side effects I'm dealing with are much worse. My breasts are so tender that they cannot be touched. My face has been breaking out. I am constantly hungry but I've been constipated on and off which has been giving me abdominal pain. I've been having crazy mood swings and fighting a lot with my boyfriend. I've been very angry. My sex drive has decreased while my discharge has increased. Sex has been somewhat painful. I've had some light bleeding and cramping off and on.
