INDO-LEMMON  (INDOMETHACIN):  Indomethacin is used to relieve pain, swelling, and joint stiffness caused by arthritis, bursitis, and tendonitis. Reducing these symptoms helps you do more of your normal daily activities. The sustained release capsule does not relieve pain quickly. Therefore, do not use it for sudden gout attacks. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). If you are treating a chronic condition such as arthritis, ask your doctor about non-drug treatments and/or using other medications to treat your pain. See also Warning section.   FDA Approval Date: 1985-11-07 (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

5  Gout Trouble sleeping. Slight confusion. Indomethacin is the labeled name but it was mfg'd by Teva. It worked well. After 3-4 hours the most intense pain subsides. After a few days you will be able to walk some and gradually feels normal within a few weeks. I would not take it any longer than required though. M 31 2 weeks
