4  Uti I thought I was going crazy but after reading other people's comments I think it's these pills that are causing my anxiety, mind fog, and just feeling weak. I also have trouble going to sleep feel anxious and shaky. Can't tolerate the smell of rubbing alcohol for some reason it hypes up my smell. I am not going to use this medicine any more after this first and last time. I already have digestive issues don't need no More to develop. F 43 7 days

3  Sinusitis/Sinus infection Headache, extreme anxiety, heart racing, night sweats, loose redish stools... I don't take many medications but my sinus infection just would not subside, so I finally went in to the family doctor who prescribed me this. Starting right from the minute I took the first dose, my heart started racing, my mind started churning, and I have been crazy anxious! Finally, I realized maybe it was the medication and with these and other comments about Omnicef (the brand name), I'm realizing that maybe I'm not going crazy and that it is just the medication. I even made appointments to see a psychologist and an endocrinologist just to see if my hormones and body chemistry is off. I only have 3 days left of the meds, but I don't think I'll ever take this again. Not fun. My poor husband probably thinks I'm going crazy. I sure feel like I am. But, on the upside, my sinus infection is finally going away and I've lost a few pounds. F 35 7 days

1  sinus infection Seems to have worked for the sinus infection, but on day 4 woke up at 2am with shaking chills and hot flashes, stomach cramps, and blow out diarrhea. It continued for 2 hours. The diarrhea continue until 10 am that morning. I skipped a dose and called the dr. She said to keep taking it along with a pro-biotic. Now have dull pain on one side of my gut and thick yellow-green mucus tinged with blood. Still on drug for 3 more days. Feel boated.Taking pro-biotic and yogurt. Am very worried about this drug damaging my colon. F 67 10 days

CEFDINIR  (CEFDINIR):  Cefdinir is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is known as a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections.   (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)
