5  yes no side effects at all. this was for prophylactic prevention of UTIs for my daughter with a surgically enlarged bladder. administered 10cc - 20cc via ostomy into bladder nightly...not oral or intraveinus. my daughter took this med for 2 years. no side effects, and even though it's not effective against some bacterial infections and she did get some infections, she did not get bad ones. i would recommend this.
