| 1 | Sinus infection | Horrible racing heart within an hour of taking, weak legs, terrible indigestion/chest pain, bad metallic taste, could feel my heart beating throughout my whole body, very emotional, difficulty speaking straight, zombie like state, terrible headache/pressure in forehead and cheeks. | I will never in my life take this again. I would rather spend ever day with a sinus infection. I have experienced the worst panic attacks, headaches, feeling of going crazy, depression, etc. since being on this stupid drug for 5 days. My Dr. was informed that I suffer from anxiety disorder and hietal hernia/acid reflux, yet she prescribed me a drug that only exasperates my symptoms. I have had to take Ativan every day after taking the Biaxin XL just to stop my heart from racing so fast. I usually only use Ativan once in a blue moon when suffering a serious panic attack. And once the heart does slow down, the extreme tightness that is left in my head and cheeks is just as unbearable. I feel so much worse than before I took these. NEVER AGAIN. So I end up drinking less before bed, and just feel like crap when I wake up all dehydrated. In the morning, I am very turned off to water, but I have to force myself to drink at least 3 glasses to replenish what I lost overnight. I try to eat quite alot of in-betweener snacks to keep my stomach bacteria levels up. This antibiotic really seems to kill everything. Even good bacteria.
