I have never had the metallic taste that many others have experienced. I have had bad nightmares on a regular basis since taking Biaxin. I'm drinking more water than normal to combat the dry mouth, but don't have any strong desire to eat. On my first night I experienced a mild headache and cough making it very difficult to sleep. I've noticed that my short-term memory does not appear to be as sharp while on Biaxin. I've also been experiencing some slight discomfort in my upper right jam for some unknown reason. Other than all these side-effect the Biaxin has cleared up most of my respiratory/sinus infection. Only four more days to go.... | Appreciate all the comments that others have made pertaining to Biaxin. I am still on Biaxin, a 14 day maximum dose with 5 days left, and I have contemplated stopping since day two because I feel so horrible.
