| 4 | Acne, painful and heavy periods | Slight weight gain- like 5-7 lbs (something to keep in mind is that I started this BC in the middle of a pandemic so the lower activity rate on my part is partly to blame), clearer skin, occasional bloating, no periods, no cramps (that's super nice) | Overall, this birth control has been really helpful for me. I loved it and had no issues until I was 22 and started on antidepressants. I didn't realize it gave me anxiety and depression. I also developed UTI/vaginal irritation symptoms for no apparent reason. My doctor then put me on Lo Loestrin and I swear it made me crazy. I went off the antidepressants thinking it was those making me crazy but it was Lo Loestrin. My vaginal symptoms are still there, I have tension headaches almost every day, spotting every month, no periods, fatigue, nausea, and a general brain fog that makes me have zero joy. | I am planning on coming off of the pill but I'm afraid of how my body would react. I think the low dose pill in combination with the depressant messed up my hormones and gave me vaginal dryness at 24 (which no doctor believes to be true).
