My legs feel so heavy and large that I feel like they are going to burst some days. The Dr's say it isn't the blood thinners.. However I have been within a certain range for years and then the only thing that changed was the blood thinners. I'm tired all the time. I get shortness of breath if I do too much around the house. I expected that a few months after the blood clots. I know I'm healing. It's been 8 months now and I should be feeling better. I walk every day, I exercise (dvd workouts) and I lift weights (smaller weights), and I eat pretty good usually. Gaining the weight that I didn't need to has me eating a little worse now. I'm upset about the weight. It just keeps going up. Instead of down. Back in 2009 I was on Coumadin and I didn't have any issues. I was never theraputic but I didn't gain weight or have issues with it. I know that isn't a good drug either but I can't handle gaining anymore weight. I'm supposed to be on this for life now... I mean I was anxious but I was able to get through it on my own, now back on Xarelto after my surgery 2 weeks ago and I have anxiety going to work. I was scanned pre op and all my clots are gone. I asked my cardiologist if I could just stay off them after surgery since I felt great. She said no, that I had to finish the 6 month regimen, which will be in December. I just want my life back!
