Have not had another A1c since starting but I am sure it must be lower. I generally feel better, no more highs and lows. After a rough start, I think this could be a good thing. Will have to see when I have more experience. I was not terribly overweight to start with. 5-10 and 170 lbs. I am now 158 lbs. This was just not for me I couldn't bare mentally or maintain these symptoms with my lifestyle.
