| 1 | Nasal Allergies | Extreme drowsiness, moodiness (angry/cranky), constant dreams/ night terrors, craving sweet foods, drugged state throughout the day, no matter how much sleep I never feel rested | This took care of the nasal stuffiness almost immediately, but after only 4 days of the side effects I and my husband would rather deal with the stuffiness. After 2 pills I was already having nightmares and extreme moodiness. I split the pill in half to 2.5 mg and still experienced the symptoms just to a lesser degree. It is very expensive as well and my insurance does not cover it. Luckily I was given samples from the doctor and did not waste my money on a whole month's supply. Incidentally, I asked him if there was a time of day I should take it. He said, no, just take it at the same time every day. WRONG. According to the drug's website and personal experience, only at night before bed, as total drowsiness ensues. Also, I recently developed heart-burn which in the past I very rarely suffered.
