| 2 | Allergies and hives | If I take it, that starts a BAD day. And I happen to take it EVERY day, along with SIngulair. If I take it, I'm VERY anxious, irritable, and depressed. My friends all thought I was bipolar. If I forget to take it, I'm in a happy, cheerful, optimistic and calm mood all day, but I'm covered in hives. | Only thing that helps the allergies. Does wonders on hives. (still am taking it) So, I recommend it if you HATE hives, but to stop it if you start feeling depressed or anxious. I notice a difference in the mental/mood related stuff almost immediately. The depression from it is really... not good... The dreams are insane,but I don't mind them because I can't seem to hold a thought for long on Xyzal. this pill takes a while to kick in at night, once I'm passed out or in a mild coma i'm unable to scratch, when i wake up my skin feels slightly numb (which is great for me) the itchies come back around 11 ish in the day and comes on full force around 2 PM. Wish I could take 2 doses but might end up in a coma forever. I think i have permanent white scars from the itchies :( because i kept scratching my wounds. I'm now depressed over that. :.{ | I've have an unknown uncontrollable itch all over my body. Everything (cortizone shots, benadryl, zertec, every lotion prescribed didn't work. LMAO | I started seeing a new PCP and she gave me XYZal samples when I told her about these headaches that I get at the same time every year, right at the start of autumn. I say "headaches" as in plural but it's more like one five-week long headache...go to bed with it and wake up with it the next day. For eight years I've gotten these headaches like clockwork. I started taking the xyzal about two weeks before I expected the headache and here I am half way through and no full blown headache and minimal sinus pressure. I'm trying not to jump the gun but I'm thrilled. I still get a low-grade "almost" headache every so often but it beats going to bed with one and waking up with it. It did help my breathing but the side effects were not worth it. During the period I was taking it I had a five day holiday with beautiful weather ans staying by the beach. I don't know bow much it costs but I just dumped a months supply in the bin. Worst still I was taking it with singulair. I discovered from this site that this also causes depression.
