CIPRODEX  (CIPROFLOXACIN; DEXAMETHASONE):  This medication is used to treat bacterial ear infections. It is used to treat middle ear infections in children with ear tubes, as well as outer ear infections (also known as swimmer's ear) in children and adults. This medication contains a combination of ciprofloxacin (a quinolone-type antibiotic) and dexamethasone (an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid). This ear drop works by stopping the growth of bacteria and reducing ear swelling and discomfort. This medication treats only bacterial ear infections. It will not work for other types of ear infections. Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.   FDA Approval Date: 2003-07-18 (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

1  ear infection body-wide twitching, burning muscles, freezing/burning thighs and shins, numbness and tingling in legs, burning right shoulder, dry eyes, panic attacks, burning joints, popping joints. FOR TWO YEARS NOW I still can't believe that all of these can be caused by such low dose of Cipro. I was told to use it for 7 days but used it for two months. Maybe everything is a coincidence and I have Sjogren's or Lyme Disease (I have been tested negative for both) M 29 30 days
