I withdrew emotionally from my partner and we nearly broke up. I can't emphasize enough how utterly disgusting and hopeless I felt on this, I was quite suicidal at some points. When my first period on this arrived, it never stopped until I got the rod out - I bled for over a month. | This needs to come with some severe warnings. I know some women use it quite happily, but for many more it is a nightmare. The doctors hesitated to remove it until I threatened to get a razor and do it myself (which I would have, I was that desperate). After it was removed I started to feel better within days. However, 3 years later, I still don't feel as good as I did before I used it, and still suffer some depression and anxiety of a form I never had before the Implanon. IF YOU HAVE EVER HAD DEPRESSION DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.
