I did this for a couple of months, before reluctantly returning to Ambien. Thank Goodness my pace of employment switched insurance providers, and the med is now covered!!!! I would be lost without it. I see many people speak of a funny taste, and I have never experienced that. I do find myself craving sweets as it is taking effect, and my sex drive increases after it has had time to metabolize in my system some. I have had conversations with people, and only remember parts it it AFTER they remind me of what was said. So, I now have my phone to automatically goon DND every night at the same time to prevent me answering or responding to text. I fall asleep rather quickly and remain sleep until the morning. I wake well rested, and ready to start my day.
