| 3 | To be ready on demand. | Severe leg and back cramps that lasted for days. | Nothing happened for 24 hours, unlike viagra which generally works in a few hours. It does provide rock hard erections. I have been woken by morning wood for the last 4 days, very happy with that, but the hamstring and lower back pain has been unbearable. I took pain meds to sleep the last two nights. The next morning I woke to find my eyelids and underneath my eyes had swollen up in the extreme. The back pain was still there too, along with numb feelings in all my joints and a fluttery feeling in my heart. Eyelid swelling and pains decreased throughout the day. The next morning (2 days after taking) my eyelids and eyes had swollen up in the extreme again and all the other symptoms were back too. I spent 5 hours waiting in casualty to see a dr, by the time I did my eyelids had gone down again and the pains had again subsided. The next day (three days after taking!) my eyelids had swollen up again and the back pain was back. I was scared and went back to the dr's, where I was given antihistamines to stop the swelling (that was what I was most worried about), they seemed to work- that, or the drug had just gone from my system. I have no idea how the cialis affected my ED, I was in too much pain and far too worried to think abo | M | 30 | 1 days 20 1X day | 8/23/2011 | 1 | Bladder Neck Inflammation and Pain | Facial Flushing, Dull Headaches, Red puffy eyes, pain and pressure in the eyes. | I took this drug after my urologist suggested it because of pain in my uretha from a bladder neck inflammation. This drug works great for ED or any erectile failure. HOWEVER, I get yearly glaucoma exams because my mother had it in her 60s, and my optic nerve is irregular showing a predisposition for the disease. My checkups had been fine until my last one when they told me I have a LOSS OF VISION IN MY LEFT EYE showing that I am now fully glaucomic. The Doctors do not attribute this to the use of Cialis but I can tell that I am almost positive that the use of this drug caused DAMAGE TO MY OPTIC NERVE which precipitated an early onset of glaucoma, which I may have had to contend with in my 50's or 60's. The drug is a a known vasodilator which will suddenly increase the pressure in your eye. Not enough to cause a NAION (stroke), but after continued use over years, I DO BELIEVE, it will damage your optic nerve as I believe it did mine. You will not even notice it is happening until you get a visual field exam which I encourage anyone taking this drug over the long term to do. WHAT DO YOU THINK is happening to your eyes, after you take this drug and you notice pressure, redness, pain and swelling in your eyes which lasts for the duration of the drug life in your body. This drugs is causing you the slightest damage with every use that will only come to light after many years of using it. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO!!! I effectively overdosed on Cialis, as I described below. Don't try this -- it's a bad idea. The overdose effects of Cialis were disastrous. I had very severe, even crippling back pain. I fell out of bed, screaming in pain. I could barely walk and each small impact on the spine was very painful. Any other side effects were relatively minor in comparison. The back pain did slowly abate and after a month or so, it was tolerable. Six months later, the back pain was pretty minor. | I bought 30mg tablets and split them, to save money. I took the dose with grape fruit juice -- bad idea -- it increases the effect (and side-effects) of the drug. I also had tried dosing on consecutive days -- another bad idea. In all, I was at fault for what was effectively an overdose. The ED treatment of Cialis was pretty good. However, because of the experience I described above, I've switched to Levitra. I wish Levitra lasted longer, but there's always a compromise. If you take Cialis, I'd recommend using as small of a dose as is beneficially possible to avoid side effects.
