5 | Sinus congestion | Really very minimal. A little dry mouth. | A wonderful med that really helped me with chronic indoor winter allergies. Totally relieved serious sinus congestion which greatly fatigued me for many months. Used this med along with sinus irrigation and feel fantastic. I take in the morning so by the time night falls it won’t interfere with my sleep. I sleep great because decongestant effects continue to work through the night. | M | 72 | 7 days | 11/23/2020 |
CLARINEX-D 12 HOUR (DESLORATADINE; PSEUDOEPHEDRINE SULFATE): This medication is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny/stuffy nose, itching eyes/nose, and sneezing. It contains 2 medications: desloratadine and pseudoephedrine. Desloratadine is an antihistamine and works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant and works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nose to decrease swelling and congestion. This medication is not recommended for use in children younger than 12 years of age due to the large amount of pseudoephedrine in it. FDA Approval Date: 2006-02-01 (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)
