| 3 | Insulin Resistance, PCOS, fertility | gas, bloating, stomach pains | I originally started on the regular Glucophage and had horrible side effects of gas, bloating, and stomach pains. I went off of it for a short time and then started on the XR with only minor side effects. However, I am very disappointed b/c I read so many other reviews where people lost weight and I have not been able to lose one pound! I have been getting my period more regularly, but only recently. I also am on medication for Lupus, although my Dr. said that should not interfere.
