There were no side effects for the first 3 months of use. After the 3 month mark, I began experiencing headaches on a daily basis. When I talked to my doctor about it, she suggested I try using Nuvaring on a continuous basis instead of taking a week off to have a period. I tried that and the headaches subsided a little, but after 2 months, I then began experiencing extreme anxiety. I had never had a panic attack before. Using this, I had them on a weekly basis. I also began feeling mild menstrual cramps when I wasn't on my period. They were tolerable, but annoying. All of these side effects went away after I stopped using the Nuvaring completely. | F | 28 | 9 months | 1/8/2007 |
