TEQUIN  (GATIFLOXACIN):  This medication is a quinolone antibiotic used for eye infections (such as conjunctivitis). This medication treats only bacterial eye infections.  1  upper respiratory infection had a major seizure a few hours after the first dose and ended up fracturing 4 vertabrae in my back due to the violence of the seizure. After this eposide, I found that this is one of the side effects. Should have researched it before taking it. Doctors don't know everything. F 87 1 days

 1  sinus infection Shortly after taking this medicine, I developed a severe yeast infection. As soon as the yeast infection cleared up, I developed a horrible red, scaley, itchy skin rash all over my body. I have been diagnosed with 2 different types of skin infections. The expensive medicines my doctor prescribed for these skin infections did not work. I still have this (?) rash a month later. I would not recommend this medicine to anyone!  1  pneumonia painful rash on hands and feet, no real relief to my breathing difficulties, and on top of all that, I got seriously congested and couldn't swallow. Yuck F 34 14 days

 1  sinus infection shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing, pins and needles in hands and feet, weakness in limbs, dizziness, general weakness, headache This drug is DANGEROUS.I woudn't take it again unless it was a life or death situation. Wonder how much the mfs. paid the FDA reviewers to get this garbage passed through.... M 40 4 days
